paintings symbolise through their use of twisting organic shapes
the idea of transformation and birth. I play with subtle textures
and tones and the shapes and forms evolve from the surface of
the painting. The painting usually goes through many stages
before I think it is finished, this reflects my restless energy
and doubt, but through this constant revision I aim to express
something that is intangible and beautiful." |
